Nigeria didn’t disintegrate in 2015, calls for thanksgiving-Olajide, Obasanjo’s Chaplain

Former President, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo has led a minute silence in honour of his late sister, Mrs. Oluwola Adunni Eweje, nee Obasanjo.

Obasanjo, who decided to observe the minute silence at the carol service held last week in his chapel, Chapel of Christ the Glorious King, suddenly became emotional while he gave the vote of thanks at the end of the well-attended service in Abeokuta, the Ogun State capital.

Tagged “Christmas Carol Service of Six Lessons,” the event drew large attendance including traditional rulers, dignitaries, members of the Obasanjo family and Choristers.

Speaking at the service, the former President, appreciated the choristers, whose names he mentioned one after the other, said, “I have a few things to say. I appreciate the officiating ministers and all present. I thank the members of this chapel, you have done extremely well.”
