The city of Maiduguri, North East Nigeria has again been hit by terrorists while two deadly explosions hit the Borno State capital, about a half past six, Thursday evening, killing dozens of innocent citizens.
The latest attack happened near a Mosque while Muslim faithful observed their Magrib prayers.
Many victims, according to the National Emergency Management Authority (NEMA), have been taken to the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital and the Maiduguri Specialist Hospital for immediate treatments.
Mulai area, which was targeted Thursday evening, is about six kilometres from Maiduguri city.
Meanwhile, President Muhammadu Buhari is not looking back on his decision to completely put an end to terrorism activities in Nigeria by December. He had earlier instructed Service Chiefs to carry out the instruction.
However, Federal Legislators have advocated for the use of bomb detecting machines at the entry points of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
The FCT in recent times have been hit by terrorists loyal to the Boko Haram sect.
