Another fighter jet drops…

Barely 45 hours after a Nigerian Air Force fighter jet crashed in Adamawa State due to bad weather, elsewhere in Europe, a jet has also been reported in a mishap.

This time, a Russian jet was reportedly shot down by Turkish forces after it flew into Turkish airspace, according to yet to be confirmed reports going round on social media.

Express.co.uk has tried to reach the Turkish government and the Russian military without getting through to any side.

Eyewitnesses saw a large explosion in Huraytan, northern Syria as three fighter jets hovered, according to online reports.

The Syrian war, spanning into several years has created hostilities in the region. It has also produced hundreds of thousands refugees into Europe.
