Again, Saraki failed to appear in Court



Chairman of the Code of Conduct Tribunal, Danladi Umar, today ordered the Inspector General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase and other security agents in the country to produce embattled Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki before his court tomorrow by 10am.

Umar, who had issued a fresh arrest warrant on Saraki, had on Friday, asked the Senate President, who failed to appear before the court same day, to be present today (Monday) in court to defend charges against him.

Saraki had claimed through his lawyers that he had filed an appeal against the warrant of arrest issued by the Tribunal at the Abuja Court of Appeal.

Meanwhile, the Presidency had exempted itself from the trails of the embattled Senate President.
